Regency Taxi develops a technology software cloud service, ITCurves' transportation management cloud Networking the transportation providers locally, nationally, and internationally. This service cloud helps the accessible rider have access to regulated transportation providers and finds the nearest service provider with an accessible vehicle, regardless of the name and brand of service, and gives the traveler the option to select a provider, type of vehicle, driver as options. With ITCurves' design, public transport can fulfill ADA service availability by engaging taxi & paratransit providing companies. Transportation companies are inspired to do more thanks to the structure, connectivity, and audit features that ITCurves solutions provide for the ADA rider and a gift of mobility anywhere the customer likes to travel, locally or across states. With the ITCurves solution, we strive to bring the gift of mobility by streamlining the eligibility platform to the transits as a cloud service, so the customer does not have to go through recertification time and again.
We have 25 wheelchair-accessible vans designed for standard-sized power wheelchairs and standard-sized scooters but will not accommodate an oversized wheelchair. We are adding another five accessible Wheelchair vans this year and continually are increasing the wheelchair on-demand service. Passengers can request an Accessible Cab by calling 301-990-9000 or 301-990-9100 or online 24-hours/7-days through our web Book application or Mobile Apps TAXI APP or APP designed for metro on demand ADA service. Select Wheelchair Accessible Cab with all requests.
Passengers that can independently transfer to the vehicle can request a sedan vehicle. If requesting Wheelchair van service to the airport, please prebook, as on-demand service may take an hour or more to manage.
We cannot provide service from Dulles or BWI Airports because those airports have their accessible service.
Regency Building is accessible. The website is accessible. A rider app, including a dedicated APP that can work with the Metro ID, is available with Metro ADA on-demand service and is ever-improving accessibility features.
The rates for accessible taxi services are the same as for traditional taxi services. You can pay with cash or by Credit Card. Regency taxicabs have state-of-the-art payment systems that pass accessibility testing.
Hearing-impaired customers can use our online booking services Book to book a ride, track the dispatched vehicle, and communicate to our dispatchers through TAXI APP or APP designed for metro on demand ADA service.
